With the temperatures dropping quickly, warm soups and curries are the perfect way to warm up. Though curries originated in Southern and Southeastern Asia, they are quite popular around the world because of their simplicity, heartiness, and for those who are inclined, heat.

If you’re looking for a meal to keep you warm this fall and leading into winter, try Hub’s Lamb Curry for dinner tonight!

hubHub’s Lamb Curry Recipe


3 slices of bacon, diced
1/2 cup celerym sliced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. curry powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1/2 cup sweetened applesauce
2 tsp lemon juice
2 cups cooked lamb
1/2 tsp tumeric
1/2 water
2 tsp sugar


1. Cook the bacon until crisp, and tghen add the celery, and onion and cook on medium for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in flour, curry, salt, and tumeric.

2. Next, add water, milk, and bouillon cubes, stirring well to incorporate. Return to heat and stir constantly, until thickened. Stir in applesauce, sugar, lemon juice and lamb.

3. cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over hot fluffy rice and garnish with shredded coconut.
